THE HARVARD CHAMBER ENCOURAGES NETWORKING: You, as a new chamber member, are always welcome to join us on the radio on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. on Harvard Community Radio 88.5 fm. You can let the listeners know about your location, products/services, hours of operation & promotions. No one knows your business better than you do! THE CHAMBER INFORMATION CENTER: All member businesses are invited to display their brochures and other promotional materials at the Chamber Information Center, 40 N. Ayer Street, Harvard. The Chamber office staff answers countless requests for referrals to reputable local businesses and competent professionals. The Chamber only recommends member businesses.
NEW BUSINESS START-UP ASSISTANCE: The Chamber can help prospective entrepreneurs get their new businesses up and running. The Chamber office is a designated Resource Center for the U.S. Small Business Administration and can provide information to help people get loan program funding for starting or expanding a business. The Chamber office works with MCC Small Business Development Center, the Harvard Economic Development Corporation, the City of Harvard, and the City Administrator.
HCCI COMMUNITY GUIDE – THE AREA’S LOCAL YELLOW PAGES & BUSINESS DIRECTORY: Harvard Chamber of Commerce Members receive a free listing in the yellow pages of the annual Harvard Community Guide. Businesses that belong to the Chamber are highlighted and identified as Chamber members and are listed in the Harvard Business Directory. Their names are bolder and more prominent so they stand out when consumers are shopping the Community Guide for goods or services.
The Community Guide contains information on area history, things to do, local service organizations, a worship directory, along with information on schools, local government and community festivals.
More than 6,500 copies of the Community Guide are distributed to the doors of area homes, businesses, motels and real estate offices. It is also mailed with relocation and visitor packets.
COMMUNITY BUSINESS EXPO & HOME SHOW: The Expo provides you with an opportunity to share the products and services your business offers to the community and other businesses. Discounts are available for members.
RESIDENTIAL GREETER SERVICE: This is a FREE service to you as a member and to all new home buyers in Harvard. We mail a coupon to all new residents inviting them to stop by the Chamber office and pick up their Greeter Service Bag that includes the Community Guide, local maps, and any promotional information, item or coupon that Chamber members would like to provide. It’s a great way to get your name out to new prospective customers. and it couldn’t be easier. This opportunity is only available to Chamber Members!
PAST PRESIDENTS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: The Chamber sponsors an annual scholarship for two graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, trade, or technical school.

MEMBERSHIP “MIXER” MAILING: A Mixer is an opportunity to invite others from the business community to your place or ours, to let them discover more about who you are and what your business has to offer. The fee for mixer mailings is $55.00. Postcards are sent out by the Chamber to all members (a savings to you of approximately $35.00 for the cost of postage). Mixers are an important part of networking with other businesses and this is a wonderful way to save on the cost of postage!
CHAMBER WEBSITE LISTINGS: The Chamber includes a link from our business site to yours. Members are also listed on the website in the Membership Directory. New Members can also advertise a business card size ad for three months on the front page of the Chamber Website, for FREE.
