Spears to You Asparagus Farm is looking for weekday harvesters. The job runs for 6 weeks from usually the beginning of May through Mid June, although it could be earlier this year based on recent weather patterns.
Asparagus is harvested daily and harvesting usually starts around 8:30 am and it takes two harvesters 5-6 hours to harvest. There is available work in the packing room afterward. This is outdoor work and is done on individual motorized harvest carts. Position is good for college students not in class at that time, stay at home moms, or others just looking for work. Pay starts at $15 an hour.
